PART TIME LIBRARY TECHNICIAN POSITION

12 hours per week

Job Description:

The Shepard-Pruden Memorial Library is seeking a community oriented, intelligent, customer-service focused, and technologically capable individual to join the library team. The library technician serves as support staff, handling a variety of duties within the library and assisting patrons.  Primary duties include working at the circulation desk, participating in library projects, and contributing to team decision-making. The library technician reports to the librarian and will be trained in all aspects of the position. Specific duties are determined by the librarian and may vary depending upon the individual’s skills and aptitudes.
